See How Your Donation Helps!

A 2010 study by the National Cancer Institute estimated that the amount of money Americans spend on cancer treatment each year would increase 27 percent between 2010 and 2020, to reach a staggering $158 billion per year. (www.giveforward.com) Costs for treatment can be astronomical but every little bit adds up to make a difference. Here's a few ways your donation can help:

$25 can provide a CT scan or a mammography diagnostic for an insured patient. It may also provide a standard checkup with your doctor and blood work.

$50 can provide an MRI scan for an insured patient. It can also accommodate for a month's worth of Leukemia medicine co-pay.

$100 will pay for the cost of 4 patient’s chemotherapy drug prescription co-payments. It could also fund research for one more day.

$300 will train 25 peer volunteers who can provide emotional support and assistance to newly diagnosed patients.

$500 - The cost of admission for a new patient.

$700 - Average out-of-pocket monthly expenses of an insurance holder for testing (excluding chemotherapy).

$1000 - Provides patient aid to 6 blood cancer patients.

$4000 - $11000 - The average cost per round of chemotherapy for metastatic cancer.

For donations of $100 or more, we will send a chocolate bar to you or a loved one free of charge as a thank you. Make sure to provide us with your information.
*Numbers will vary depending on health plan and hospital.
